Benjamin L. de Bivort, the Thomas D. Cabot Associate Professor of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard will present his work on recently developed robots and derived methods to study behavior, neurobiology and molecular correlates in fruitflies.

He has developed methods for automated behavioral classification, that is spontaneous behavior, assigned machine learning algorithm. Previously he investigated neural circuit for handedness that regulate behavioral diversity in flies.
