The effects of dietary lipid oxidation on farmed fish

Godfrey Kawooya Kubiriza will defend his Phd. thesis on The effects of dietary lipid oxidation on farmed fish.

The opponents are Dr. Anders Kiessling and Dr. Þórarinn Sveinsson.

Dr. Anders Kiessling is professor in Aquaculture at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He has more than 25 years of active research in aquaculture with special emphasis on nutrition physiology, product quality and lately sustainable feed sources to farmed fish. Of these twenty five years he has worked fifteen in Norway and four in Canada, always in close contact with the industry.

Dr. Þórarinn Sveinsson is a professor in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Iceland. He has a BSc degree in Biology from the University of Iceland a masters and a doctoral degree from the University of Manitoba specializing in fish physiology. At present he is at the division of Physiotherapy in the Faculty of Medicine and in The Research Institute
of Movement Science.
